School and District Report Cards

All states and districts receiving Title I funds must prepare and disseminate annual report cards. Report cards are important tools for communication information about teacher quality, student demographics, student academic performance, and other indicators to parents, community members, and other stakeholders.

The Massachusetts Department of Education (MA DOE) does not make district report cards available to the public. It is each district's responsibility to prepare and disseminate report cards to parents. The Department asks that districts distribute report cards by March 30, 2005.
